Day 2 of the Roughrider Poker Tour Tri-State Poker Championship is set to resume at 11:00 a.m. local time here in Hankinson, ND at Dakota Magic Hotel & Casino. The two Day 1 starting flights saw a total of 351 entries, 52 of which will be returning for the Championship Day. The remaining players will be battling it out for a piece of the $189,540 prize pool, with the first-place prize of $35,000 going to the winner, along with the custom RPT trophy and a $1,000 Dream Chaser V Main Event seat.
Flight A attracted 163 runners, with 25 advancing to Day 2. Eric Hanson finished the flight as the player on top with an impressive 1,260,000, good for second in the overall counts heading into Day 2.
Flight B saw even more action, with 188 competitors showing up, but only 27 making it through. Jamie Meidinger bagged the overwhelming chip lead with with 1,427,000 and will enter the Championship Day as the overall chip leader.
Those who qualified for the finals on Sunday with two stacks include Jeremy Holmes and Cody Billadeau. They will each receive a $2,000 double bag bonus and their smaller stack will be removed from play.

Action will resume with 40 minutes remaining in level 17 with blinds at 6,000/12,000 with a 12,000 big blind ante and the tournament will play down to a winner. Levels will be 40-minutes in length and a 15-minute break will occur at the end of every three levels.
