Action went four ways to a flop of 5♦A♥4♠ in a limped pot and action checked through to the A♠ turn.

The small blind led out for 1,000, Craig Thompson called in the big blind, Chad Knoblauch called in early position, and the player in middle position folded.

On the K♠ river, the small blind checked, Thompson bet 2,500, Knoblauch called, and the small blind folded.

Thompson tabled A♣3♥ for trip aces but Knoblauch held the superior kicker with A♦J♣ to earn the pot.

Brent Slaubaugh limped under the gun and the player in middle position raised to 1,200. Slaubaugh called.

Both players checked on the 3♦4♠A♥ flop and the 8♠ landed on the turn. Slaubaugh led out for 2,000 and middle position called.

On the 5♠ river, Slaubaugh bet again, this time for 2,500. Middle position made the call and tossed his cards into the muck when Slaubaugh tabled A♦5♦ for two pair, aces and fives.

David Grote raised to 1,000 in early position, the player in middle position called, and the player in the cutoff three-bet to 5,000. Grote called, as did middle position.

The flop came K♥4♥J♥ and Grote led out for 8,000. Middle position folded and the cutoff raised to 30,000. Grote made the call.

The turn brought the 7♦ and Grote checked. The cutoff then moved all in for close to 50,000 and Grote called with the covering stack.

Cutoff: A♥A♣ All in
David Grote: K♦K♣

The cutoff couldn't find an ace or a heart on the river and the the sizable pot was pushed Grote's way.

Flashback: Joseph Osterbauer Wins RPT Jackpot Junction Main Event

Back in August at the Roughrider Poker Tour Jackpot Junction, Joseph Osterbauer claimed victory to capture his career-best score of $38,000 along with the custom RPT bracelet.

The inaugural edition of the event marked the Minnesota poker debut for the RPT and it proved to be a huge success. The tournament had an amazing turnout, attracting 474 entries and generating a prize pool of $255,960. Osterbauer defeated Chandra Kontham in a back-and-forth heads-up match to win the title, with his dad cheering him on from the rail.

Rhonda Retzlaff limped in the hijack, the player on the button raised to 1,100, and Jerome Getz reraised to 2,500 in the big blind. Retzlaff and the button both called.

The flop came 10♣Q♣J♥, Getz bet 3,000, and Retzlaff and the button both called.

On the 4♥ turn, Getz bet 3,000 again, and Retzlaff and the button both stuck around to see the 9♦ river.

Getz slowed down with a check and Retzlaff bet 5,000. The button called and Getz got out of the way.

Retzlaff tabled A♦K♥ for Broadway to scoop another pot.

Britton Chipping Up

Action picked up on the flop of 4♣9♦A♥ in a hand between Mark Britton in the cutoff and the player in late position.

With about 3,000 in the middle, late position bet 1,300 and Britton made it 2,600 to go. Late position called and the turn landed the 9♣.

Late position check-folded when Britton fired out a bet of 4,000 and the pot was pushed Britton's way.
