De Filippis Clears Out a Crowd
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Dwight Cherry began the action with an open to 1,000 from the cutoff. Daniel De Filippis called on the button before Shane Peirson joined from the small blind, and Jesse Stephens hopped in from the big blind.
Peirson chose to lead for 2,100 on the 6♥9♣2♣ flop, which led to a fold from Stephens and Cherry.
Peirson only had one player left to get through, but it proved to be an obstacle when De Filippis chose to raise to 6,000 in response.
Peirson gave it brief consideration before he folded, to award the pot to De Filippis without any further resistance.
