Himes Shuts it Down
Level 16
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Victor Paredes began the bidding with an open to 20,000 from the hijack. Denis Lee called from the cutoff before Charles Himes chose to make the call from the big blind.
The 4♠3♠4♣ flop led to a check from Himes. Paredes continued for 30,000, and Lee made the call.
Himes surveyed the situation and took an inventory before he chose to check-raise all-in for 143,000 total. Paredes quickly folded, but Lee went into the tank as he considered what to do.
Lee chose to fold as Himes took down a healthy pot on the flop.
