Adams Eliminates Leahy
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
A raise and call set the stage for the flop of 8♥Q♥7♦ before even more chips were put in the middle.
Evan Leahy bet from early position before Lenard Adams announced an all-in to put the pressure back on Leahy. Leahy made the call to put himself at risk for 41,000.
Evan Leahy: Q♠10♣
Lenard Adams: K♥K♦
Leahy held top pair, but it was no good, as Adams had the best hand with his pocket kings.
The 9♠ turn was a boost for Leahy, as he held an open-ended straight draw with the river yet to come.
Leahy was unable to connect when the 5♥ river peeled to award the pot to Adams, as Leahy was eliminated.
