Sisodiya Scores Double KO
The hand began with a limp from the player under the gun. The next seat over limped before Sanjeev Sisodiya made it 4,000 from the cutoff. The big blind decided to jam in response to all the action in front of them for 25,100 total. The under-the-gun player folded, but the early position player put themselves at risk for less. Sisodiya surveyed the situation before he also made the call to put both players at risk.
Early Position: A♣Q♣
Big Blind: 9♥9♦
Sanjeev Sisodiya: A♥K♠
The big blind had the best hand, but they needed to fade overcards to stay in contention.
The 5♦8♠3♠ flop was safe for the big blind, as their pocket nines stayed in the lead.
Sisodiya would see a welcome sight on the A♠ turn as he hit his pair of aces to take the lead and held the only spade in the hand for a flush draw.
The 10♠ river upgraded Sisodiya to a flush and knocked out two opponents in the process.
