Pineda Sends Opponent Packing
A raise and two calls preflop created a pot of 7,800 before the flop came 10♦A♥8♠.
Deyvi Pineda checked out of the small blind before a player in middle position fired 2,700. The hijack made the call, but Pineda had other plans. Pineda opted to check-raise to 8,500 in response. This folded out the player in middle position, but the hijack was not done with the hand, as they opted to go all-in for 26,100. Pineda asked for a count before he made the call, putting his opponent at risk.
Opponent: J♣9♠
Deyvi Pineda: A♠J♦
Pineda had his opponent in rough shape as his flopped pair of aces was well in the lead.
The 4♣ turn was a blank as Pineda got one step closer to scoring the knockout.
The 10♠ river secured the pot for Pineda, who dragged in the chips.
