Ro Bids Farewell to Lee
Level 17
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Angel Uriol got the action started with an open to 25,000 from early position. Denis Lee decided to risk it all with a jam for 104,000 on the button. Don Ro woke up with a hand in the big blind and re-shoved to isolate. Uriol got out of the way with a fold as Lee and Ro went to a showdown, with Lee at risk.
Denis Lee: 7♦7♠
Don Ro: A♣J♥
Lee's lead evaporated on the 9♠A♥J♠ flop pulling Ro well ahead with the turn and river to go.
The 2♣ turn and the 2♥ river completed the board as Lee was eliminated from contention.
