The turn flipped the script in a hurry when the J♣ peeled to give Hoag a pair of jacks.

Francisco was unable to find an ace on the 7♦ river as he was eliminated.

Pilotin was up against the wall with five cards to go, and the flop offered little to work with when it came 10♣6♣A♥ to keep Eoll in the lead.

The 7♣ turn gave Pilton some additional outs as he could hit his gutshot straight draw as well as a king on the river.

Much to the dismay of Eoll, Pilotin would get there on the 9♥ river to hit a straight and stay in contention on Day 1c.

Sue Fortuno got the action started with an open to 3,000 from early position before the hijack made the call. The opponent in the small blind wanted to play for more and three-bet to 13,000 in response. The big blind made the cold call before Fortuno also stuck around with a call. The hijack folded as the remaining three players took a flop.

All three players checked the 4♦2♠10♠ flop to welcome the A♠ turn. The small blind got back into action with a bet of 15,000. The big blind folded, but Fortuno was not done with the hand and made the call.

The 3♦ peeled on the river before the small blind fired 20,000. Fortuno shoved for 45,000 total and was called by the small blind.

The player in the small blind showed A♦3♥ for a rivered two-pair, but it was no match for the K♠Q♠ flush of Fortuno as she took in a healthy pot to double up on Day 1c.

Both players checked the flop of 6♠4♦5♣ to usher in the 9♣ turn.

Lebhar got back to betting when he put out 5,000. Eoll made the call.

The 2♠ river did not slow Lebhar down as he followed with a bet of 10,000. Eoll flicked in the call, and they went to a showdown.

Lebhar showed 8♦7♦ for a flopped straight that became a higher straight on the turn. Eoll mucked his hand as Lebhar dragged in the chips.

As if that wasn't enough, Fortuno would go on to bink the Q♥ on the turn to upgrade to a four of a kind and slam the door on Mok's tournament life.

Dennis Morgan got the chips in preflop against two opponents and had them both covered and at risk.

Morgan was in a bad spot preflop as they went to a runout.

The 9x5x2x flop gave Morgan little to work with, but the 8x turn gave him a gutshot to scoop the pot.

Morgan would find a way to score the double knockout when the 10x peeled to give him the straight and eliminate two opponents.

Shortly after, Morgan won a skirmish after the hijack raised to 4,500 and Morgan three-bet to 10,000 on the button.

The hijack called and sent them to a flop of K♥K♣7♠ before he checked. Morgan followed with a continuation bet of 15,000, which was enough to get the job done as the hijack folded.
