Will Berry, the most recent RunGood champion.

Will Berry shipped RunGood Downstream for $25,522 and he's off an running here at the RunGood Cup Championship after an early double. He said the first hand he sat in he got his stack in with {q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on a board of {10-}{8-}{7-}{6-} with two diamonds, but his opponent actually had the cooler with {j-}{9-}. Berry hit a diamond on the river though and doubled up right away.

Reichard Barrels Thrice

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Josh Reichard bet 600 from the small blind on a {2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} flop and got calls from the big blind and the player on the button. He fired 1,900 on the {3-Clubs} turn, chasing away only the player on the button. Reichard bet 3,500 on the {q-Diamonds} river, and his opponent tanked about a minute and flicked in a call.

Reichard slapped {q-Spades}{j-Hearts} on the table but it was no good against {k-}{8-}.

Repp Loses a Race

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Troy Repp had raised to 1,100 from late position when a player moved in for a bit under 7,000 from the blinds. Repp called with {a-}{k-} and was racing against {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}. He flopped an ace to take the lead but was fading a flush draw after three clubs flopped and a fourth club hit on the turn to give Repp's opponent a winning flush.

Rodney Spriggs said he made it 800 to go in the cutoff and got three callers. On the {4-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} flop, Spriggs bet 1,800, the player on the button made it 6,000, and Nick Graphia repopped to 12,000 in the big blind. Spriggs mucked, and the player on the button called. Graphia put in the last 8,000 or so on the {k-Clubs} turn, and the player on the button called it off with queens. Graphia had {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for trips, and the {8-Clubs} river ensured his win.

Players are on break for 10 minutes.

Sanders Regrets the Turn

Level 5 : 200/400, 50 ante

Michael Sanders bet 2,100 from the big blind on a {4-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{j-Hearts} board, and his opponent in early position made it 5,000. Sanders called, and the two saw an {8-Diamonds} fall. Sanders came out betting with 12,300, causing some distress from his opponent, who asked if reentries were still allowed after seeing he would only have a few thousand left if he called. After tanking for a couple of minutes, the player folded, and Sanders showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}.

"I should have gotten it in on the turn," he said.
