From Reichard to Bybee

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Josh Reichard bet 1,400 in the hijack after a player in front of him checked a {5-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop. Ross Bybee called in the cutoff, and the other player mucked. Reichard checked the {9-Diamonds} turn and called a bet of 1,900. He then checked the {2-Clubs}, and Bybee took about a minute before checking back.

Reichard turned {8-Spades}{7-Spades} over but that wasn't enough to beat Bybee's {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}.

Lee Doubles

Level 4 : 150/300, 25 ante

Bernard Lee bet 1,850 from the cutoff after a player checked to him on a {j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop. Lee's opponent made it 4,700, and Lee called. On the {8-Spades} turn, Lee's opponent moved in for about 8,000, and Lee couldn't get his 7,000 or so in fast enough.

Lee: {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Lee was in great shape with a better hand a blocker, and the jacks held on the {a-Diamonds} river.

No Value for Lee

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Two players checked to Bernard Lee on fourth street with {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} on the felt, and he bet about 1,700. Both the big blind and an early player called, and the river was a {10-Diamonds}. Two checks, and Lee fired 3,850 more. The big blind wasted no time calling, and the early player did the same.

Lee shook his head and showed {9-Hearts}{2-Hearts}, figuring his trips were no good against two callers, and sure enough, the early player showed {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} for eights full.

Custer Rides With Aces

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

There was a {5-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} flop on the felt and we found Justin Custer pushing all in for 17,175 in the small blind, with Joshua Steinberg in middle position having called off his stack of 16,775. The player on the button had a T5,000 chip in front of him and he called as well.

Custer: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}
Steinberg: {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}
Button: {q-Clubs}{q-Spades}

Steinberg's pumped his fist when he hit the {2-Hearts} on the turn to fill his flush, and only a heart would cost him the pot on the end. The river was a {5-Spades}, harmlessly pairing the board.
