Action exploded on a flop between Isaac Tucker and Adrian Jimenez, with the former getting his stack all in.
Tucker:
Jimenez:
Tucker had flopped top pair, but he needed more help to crack the pocket rockets of Jimenez. The turn didn't do it, and neither did the river. With that, Tucker exited the Main Event for a final time.
RunGood Ambassador Bryan Campanello just stopped by our desk to inform us he had been eliminated from the tournament.
As he told it, a player opened for 4,500 and another player called in between. Campanello then shipped for 42,000 from the big blind with , the original raiser folded, and the third player called holding ,
The turn gave Campanello a gutshot Broadway draw, while the turn meant he needed either a jack, king, or ace on the river to stay alive. The dealer burned one last time and put out a , the last card the World Series of Poker bracelet winner would see in the 2015 RunGood Poker Series Horseshoe Council Bluffs Main Event.
We're not sure of the preflop action, but we do know Adam Dinsmore got his stack of 75,600 all in preflop from the big blind and Jordan Morgan had him at risk from the button.
Dinsmore:
Morgan:
Both players held a king, which meant Dinsmore's kicker made him the heavy favorite. The flop was nothing special, and neither was the turn. Morgan needed a nine to win the pot outright, but it wasn't in the cards as the blanked on the river. Ship the double to Dinsmore
Adrian Jimenez opened for 5,000 from early position only to have Mike Conlan, who hasn't been too active, three-bet all in for 29,400 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Jimenez and he thought for 30 seconds or so before making the call.
Conlan:
Jimenez:
Jimenez had some major kicker issues, and while they didn't get resolved on the flop, they did on the turn as he paired his nine. Conlan watched helplessly as the blanked on the river and he was sent to the rail.
That's what MSPT Wisconsin State Poker Champion Ben Wiora told us as he was exiting the tournament floor.
He then explained he shipped his stack of 40,000 from late position holding the only to have Chris Ybarra wake up with in the big blind. The board ran out clean and it was back to Wisconsin for Wiora, who fired two bullets in this tournament.
During the break we learned that Nebraska farmer Phil Mader had been eliminated from the tournament. RunGood Ambassador Bernard Lee did the deed and was kind enough to fill us in on the details.
As he told it, Mader raised to 5,300 from middle position and Lee three-bet to 14,300. Mader responded by four-bet shoving all in for roughly 60,000 and Lee snap-called.
"Uh oh, " Mader said before Lee even tabled his . Mader then showed .
The flop gave Mader a gutshot straight draw to go with his one over, but neither would come in as the turn and river both ran out threes. With that, Mader's night came to an end while Lee chipped up to 170,000.
