Blase Flops a Set But Loses Hand

Lauren Blase recently replayed a hand for us that has left her with just a few chips.

Blase shrugged, a bit frustrated, as she told the rest of her story.
"Eight on the river."
She would be eliminated a few hands later. It is a re-entry event, however, so if she wants to get back in the action she can do so.

and Tepen checked to his opponent who put out three T5,000 chips for a bet of 15,000 total. Tepen, a successful tournament grinder with over half a million in lifetime winnings, snap-folded to the overbet.
and McBride checked. Johnson put out a bet of 1,200 and was called by Roberts and Johnson.
and McBride checked again. Johnson fired another bet, this time for 1,125 and Roberts put in a raise to 4,300. McBride thought for a moment and put out the call and Johnson joined in as well creating a pot of over 18,000.
