Day 2 Started
Sixty-four players have made their way to Day 2 of RunGood Poker Series Hard Rock Tulsa. They'll be vying for a first-place prize of just under $34,000 and a $2,000 Blaycation package to the season-ending championship in New Orleans.
A total of 36 runners will be paid, but there's a twist. The unique structure of the prize pool gives away nine such packages to the official final table participants, meaning there's a second bubble of sorts here in Tulsa.
Some of the top contenders today include RunGood Pros Jonathan Gaviao, Duma Lowery, Dan Martin, Ray Henson, Samantha Abernathy, Clint Tolbert, Bryan Campanello, and Ben Reason. Others to watch for: chip leader Schuyler Thornton, Will Berry, AP Phahurat, and Greg Jennings.
The tournament will wind down playing 45-minute levels here on Day 2, beginning with Level 13 (1,500/3,000/500). Breaks will be every three levels and there will be a 45-minute dinner break whenever the final table is reached. PokerNews will be on hand throughout, so don't go away as another RunGood champ is crowned.
