Welcome to Flights B and C of the RGPS Bossier City $575 Main Event
The GPI-Award Winning Mid Major Tour of 2019, RunGood Poker Series continues Saturday with the final two starting flights of the $575 Main Event.
Though this tournament features a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool, the 135 entries from Flight A have already generated over two-thirds of that figure. This means the guarantee is likely to be obliterated before cards go in the air for Flight B, with the sky as the limit moving forward.
Of the 135 to join Flight A, Matt Stroud is the player to catch among the 26 that advanced, finishing the day with 288,000 in chips. Both he and Suzan Samuels were the only two to finish the day with stacks of over 200,000.
Flight B will see cards in the air at noon local time with players receiving 20,000 in starting chips. Twelve levels of 30 minutes each are on the docket, with 15-minute breaks at the completion of every four levels or two hours of play. The day will reach its conclusion at around 6:30 p.m. local time, just in time for Flight C’s 7 p.m. start time. Like the flights that came before it, Flight C will feature an identical structure as the final opportunity to advance to Day 2.
PokerNews will be on the floor covering all the action across both starting flights. Make sure to stick around.
