Welcome to Day 1a of the $600 Main Event at the Bay Area stop of the RunGood Poker Series(RGPS). Cards go in the air at 11 a.m. local time for the first of four flights.

The Bay Area Main Event features four opening flights, with two on Friday and two on Saturday. The morning flights will kick off at 11 a.m. and the evening flight gets going at 6 p.m.

RGPS is kicking off a string of tour stops with its first event at Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, California. The tour will continue on to Cleveland from September 22-October 2 before stops in Tunica, Tulsa, and Iowa. The remainder of the year for RunGood includes a CardPlayer cruise and a stop in San Diego before the $1,000,000 Season Finale at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California.

Players will start with 30,000 in chips and registration is open until the start of Level 9. Levels are 30 minutes long and the opening flights will play until 12.5% of the field remains. The second flight of the evening will kick off at 6 p.m.

Players can play in all Day 1 flights, and if a player qualifies from multiple flights their highest stack will remain in play while they receive the lowest Day 2 prize for other bags. Survivors from the four opening flights will return on Sunday at 11 a.m. for the Day 2 finale.

After several minutes, Hill called and the turn was {7-Clubs}. Vlastnik shoved the rest of it for around 25,000 and Hill pushed out all of his chips to call. and Hill showed {10-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} for two pair, but Vlastnik turned over {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for the straight to take the big early pot and cross the 100,000 mark.
