Welcome to Day 1a of the $600 Main Event at the Bay Area stop of the RunGood Poker Series(RGPS). Cards go in the air at 11 a.m. local time for the first of four flights.
The Bay Area Main Event features four opening flights, with two on Friday and two on Saturday. The morning flights will kick off at 11 a.m. and the evening flight gets going at 6 p.m.
RGPS is kicking off a string of tour stops with its first event at Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, California. The tour will continue on to Cleveland from September 22-October 2 before stops in Tunica, Tulsa, and Iowa. The remainder of the year for RunGood includes a CardPlayer cruise and a stop in San Diego before the $1,000,000 Season Finale at Thunder Valley in Lincoln, California.
Players will start with 30,000 in chips and registration is open until the start of Level 9. Levels are 30 minutes long and the opening flights will play until 12.5% of the field remains. The second flight of the evening will kick off at 6 p.m.
Players can play in all Day 1 flights, and if a player qualifies from multiple flights their highest stack will remain in play while they receive the lowest Day 2 prize for other bags. Survivors from the four opening flights will return on Sunday at 11 a.m. for the Day 2 finale.

Cards are now in the air for Day 1a of the RunGood Poker Series $600 Main Event at Graton Resort and Casino. There are currently 113 players registered for the tournament.
Action was heads up with around 10,000 in the middle and a full board when a player in the big blind bet 3,000. Mike Rosenbach raised to 15,000 from the button and his opponent went into the tank. After a few moments of thought, Rosenbach dragged the pot when his opponent tossed his cards in the muck.
Elsewhere in the room, action was heads-up with around 4,000 in the pot and on the board when Jane Bahk bet 5,000 from the small blind. Her opponent went into the tank from late position and considered his options. He talked out the troubling board before he showed and tossed it in the muck to give up the pot.

Nearly the entire table was involved with 3,200 in the pot and on the board when action checked to a player in the cutoff. The cutoff bet 1,600 David Hoffmire called from under the gun while the rest of the table got out of the way.
Both remaining players checked the turn to see on the river. Hoffmire bet 3,000 and his opponent called.
"Full house," Hoffmire said as he turned over for deuces full of queens.
His opponent shook his head and tapped the table after he tossed the losing hand in the muck.

Once the RunGood Poker Series (RGPS) wraps up its Bay Area stop at Graton Casino, it will to Jack Cleveland Casino in Ohio for the very first RGPS Cleveland, which will feature the $800 buy-in RGPS Cleveland Main Event with a $250,000 guarantee.
The Main Event will consist of three starting flights, the first of which will get underway on Sept. 29. After Day 1b on Sept. 30 and Day 1c on Oct. 1, Day 2 will take place on Oct. 2. and play down to a winner, who will get the bulk of the guaranteed prize pool and take home the RGPS trophy.
The RGPS Cleveland stop, set to run Sept. 22-Oct. 2, will also feature over $500,000 in guarantees and a handful of side events that will see the winner's taking home Championship Rings, which were recently reintroduced by RGPS.

Action was three ways with on the board when the small blind checked and a player in middle position bet 1,000. Debbie Fineberg called from the button and the small blind came along to see on the turn.

Both remaining players checked the river and Fineberg's opponent turned over , but she had to take the pot with two pair.

Action was three ways with on the board when Kenneth Bailey bet 1,000 from the small blind. Joseph Molina raised to 6,000 from the big blind before Jane Bank folded from the button. Bailey considered it for a few moments but ultimately tossed his hand in the muck to give the pot to Molina.
