RunGood Series Champion's Ring
RunGood Series Champion's Ring

After what’s been a tremendously successful week of events for the RunGood Poker Series in its first-ever trip to the Jack Cleveland Casino, the marquee event crowns its champion Sunday with the completion of the RGPS Cleveland $800 Main Event.

The 107 survivors of the three opening flights will be vying for a share of the $491,280 prizepool, with the champion taking home $100,875, and the top 72 players earning at least $1,620.

Day 1b chip leader Scott Katip brings the largest stack into play with 568,000 chips, but not far behind him are Day 1c chip leader Derek Bowers (565,000) and Day 1a chip leader Anthony Carbone (500,000).

The final 107 players will now come back to the Jack Cleveland Casino poker room at 11:15 a.m to play down to a winner. Play will resume at the earliest finish point of the opening flights, which was Day 1a’s completion point in Level 13 with 33:27 left on the clock.

Blinds will be rolled back to 2,000/4,000 with a 4,000 big blind ante. Levels will again be 40 minutes in length with 15-minute breaks scheduled after every third level.

Stay close to PokerNews for live reporting of all the action until the first ever RunGood Poker Series Cleveland Main Event champion is crowned here at the incredible Jack Cleveland Casino.

Murray Takes From Troha

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Table 26 will be one to watch Sunday with not only overall Day 1 chip leader Derek Bowers, but Sean Troha as well.

In an early pot, on a {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop, Murray checked his big blind to Troha on the button.

The two-time WSOP bracelet winner bet 5,000, but was met with a check-raise to 20,000.

Troha opted to fold and send the pot to Murray.

Holloway Rebuilding Early

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Chad Holloway
Chad Holloway

Chad Holloway entered the day as one of the shortest stacks in the room, but a good start has seen him boost his stack to nearly triple it's original size.

The WSOP bracelet winner raised to 10,000 under the gun and was called by Jamie Teel to his immediate left.

The duo saw a flop of {q-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}, where Holloway check-called a bet of 18,000 from Teel.

They both then checked the {j-Spades} turn, then on the {q-Diamonds} river, Holloway moved all in for 55,000.

Teel folded to send the pot to his neighbor which boosted Holloway's stack to over 100,000.
