Price is Right in Big Multiway Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Five players committed 1,400 each before the dealer spread a flop of {2-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

The small blind led out for 2,200 and was called in three spots, including by Jesse Price in the cutoff.

On the {6-Clubs} turn, action was checked to Price who bet 7,500. The button called, as did the small blind.

The river brought the {q-Hearts}, and after his two opponents checked, Price moved all in for his final 6,200.

Both opponents folded and Price gave a courtesy show of his {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts} for a turned ten-high straight.

Hoellein Starting to Build

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Jon Hoellein
Jon Hoellein

Jon Hoellein raised to 600 in early position and was called by both blinds.

On the {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} flop, Hoellein continued for 1,000 and was only called by the small blind.

The players checked the {7-Spades} turn, but after the small blind checked the {a-Hearts} river, Hoellein fired once again, this time for 2,500.

His opponent showed {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and folded, sending the pot to Hoellein

Holloway Scores Early Double Up

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Chad Holloway
Chad Holloway

Following a raise to 1,400 under the gun and a call from Cynthia Kline in middle position, Chad Holloway also called from the cutoff. The button, small blind, and big blind also joined the party and the six-pack of players saw a flop of {k-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}.

Action checked to Kline who bet 5,300. Holloway would be her only customer as the rest of the table folded.

On the {9-Spades} turn, Kline moved all in for 16,200, and after pausing briefly to consider his decision, Holloway made the call.

Cynthia Kline: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}
Chad Holloway: {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}

Holloway's pair of kings were out-kicked by Kline, but he did also have a flush draw going for him.

He went the other way to win the pot however, drilling his kicker on the river as the dealer dropped the {q-Spades} on the river, to quickly boost Holloway's stack to nearly double its starting point.

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Bob Gruber
Bob Gruber

Following a raise in middle position and calls from the hijack and cutoff, Bob Gruber three-bet to 7,300 from the small blind.

Only the player in the hijack called to see a flop of {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{7-Spades}.

Gruber continued for 12,000 and the hijack folded.

"Aw, why can't you have a king," said Gruber as he showed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a flopped set of sevens.

"How do you run so good," asked his opponent as the chips were pushed to Gruber.

Kitchlin Crushing Early

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

A player in early position moved in for 2,900 and was called by three players including Jesse Howells on the button and Brodie Kitchlin in the small blind.

The trio checked the {7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, then on the {4-Clubs} turn, Kitchlin led out for 8,000, eliciting folds from his opponent.

Kitchlin showed {8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a turned straight, leaving the at-risk player drawing dead with his {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} before the {7-Hearts} even hit the river.
