Manouchakian Knocks Out Beasley

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Mike Beasley moved all-in for his remaining 5,200 and was looked up from the big blind by Karl Manouchakian with the covering stack.

Mike Beasley: {a-Clubs}{2-Hearts}
Karl Manouchakian: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Beasley was behind and looking for one of three aces to stay alive. He found the first one on the {10-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts} flop which had him pulling ahead. Beasley found the second ace on the {a-Spades} turn and Manouchakian was looking for one of two outs. The river {3-Diamonds} was one of those outs and Beasley stood up and walked away from the table.

Top Pair Good For Waxman

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Matt Waxman raised to 1,500 preflop from the cutoff and was three-bet by a player on the button to 4,000. Action folded back around to Waxman who called and they saw the flop heads up.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{a-Spades}{5-Spades} and Waxman check called a bet of 3,000 and the two players took a turn.

The turn saw an {8-Hearts} and Waxman checked once more to his opponent who put out another bet, this time to the tune of 5,000. Waxman called leaving himself about 5,000 behind and both players checked the {k-Diamonds} river.

Waxman turned over {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} which was good enough for the pot as his opponent mucked.

Platt Calls Correctly Kings

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

Two players limped in hijack and cutoff to Jeff Platt who raised to 2,000 and was called by the big blind as well as the two initial callers.

A board of {5-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Hearts} was checked to the river that saw the hijack bet 3,300 which folded the cutoff out and Platt deliberated for a bit before calling.

The big blind folded and the other player said "good call." Platt turned over {k-Spades}{k-Hearts} for aces-up and took down the pot.
