Polak Flops Three Threes
Matt Polak was in the big blind and defended versus an early-position open. Both players checked the flop .
The turn was the and Polak bet 5,000. His opponent called, and Polak threw out another 5,000 on the river .
Polak's opponent let out an audible sigh and then took a handful of seconds to meekly toss a chip onto the felt. Polak showed and the player became visibly frustrated, flashing as he threw his cards to the muck and complaining about Polak having hit numerous boards on the day.

Thomas Building Piles
There was a pile of chips in the middle on a board reading with heads-up action between Daniel Thomas in the big blind and an opponent in early position.
Thomas bet 15,000 and his opponent jammed for a little more than a qualifying raise. Thomas called.
"Do you have the flush?" asked Thomas's opponent as he turned over . Unfortunately for the player, he wound up being in even worse shape than if he were up against a flush as Thomas turned over for a turned set of nines. The case four did not come on the river and Thomas collected the pot and the knockout, bringing him over a quarter-million in the process and making him the chip leader in the field with less than 90 players now remaining.

Updated Schedule Announcement
The floor has just announced that play will continue upon the end of Level 12, now scheduled to stop at around six minutes remaining in Level 13 or when 40 players remain, whichever comes first.
Also, the scheduled 6 p.m. Day 1c flight has been pushed back to 6:30 p.m. to accommodate for the extended schedule.
Applegarth Flops a Set
Action folded around to the player on the button, who opened to 7,500. Clint Applegarth called in the small blind and the big blind came along as well, with all three players checking the flop .
The turn came and Applegarth checked again. The big blind bet 7,500 and the player on the button folded. Applegarth called.
The river fell and Applegarth checked for a third time. The big blind fired out 13,000 and Applegarth wasted no time calling.
Upon being called, the big blind mentioned something along the lines of his hand being no good, and that he was bluffing. Applegarth showed for a set of jacks and his opponent mucked, acknowledging a nice hand as the pot was sent his way.

The river came and the early-position player checked. Belcher announced a bet of 5,000 and his opponent deliberated for a few moments before flicking in a chip to match.
"Ace-king," said Belcher, tabling to match. His opponent could not beat the flopped top two pair, and the pot was sent Belcher's way.
