When You Know, You Know

After a raise to 1,000 from early position, the button player bumped up the price to 3,800 and was called only by Dominic Miana in the small blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Miana checked to his opponent who then moved all in for 20,000. Miana quickly called and the cards were tabled, with the button player at risk.

Button: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Dominic Miana: {9-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The button player was way ahead with his pocket kings, but the runout of {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} gave Miana two pair on the river to win him the pot and eliminated his opponent.

"i knew i was going to get there, but i really thought i was going to flop it," Miana admitted as he stacked his new chips.

"Chance of a Lifetime"

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Zak Rodriguez
Zak Rodriguez

After a raise to 2,000 from the middle-position player, Zak Rodriguez bumped it up to 4,000 from the cutoff. Rich Alsup then shoved all in for around 24,000 and action folded back to Rodrigez.

"Wow, I have the opportunity to bust Rich?" Rodrigez said aloud, "This is the chance of a lifetime, I call."

And with that, the cards were tabled, with Alsup at risk.

Rich Alsup: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Zak Rodriguez: {j-Spades}{7-Spades}

The flop of {9-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Hearts} was good for Alsup as it gave him top pair with a superior kicker, which left Rodriguez drawing slim. But somehow Rodriguez managed to pull off a miracle as he went runner-runner {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a rivered straight.

"See look at that, the chance of a lifetime and I just get there," Rodriguez told Alsup as he scooped in the pot and Alsup headed to the rebuy desk shaking his head.

"This is why I love poker, it's not about the money, it's just the fact that I can bust people in ways like that," Rodriguez laughed to himself as he stacked his new chips.

Molnar Holds with Middle Set

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a multi-way flop of {3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, the early position player moved all in for around 20,000 and action folded around to Sandor Molnar who made the call.

The cards were then tabled, with the early position player at risk.

Early Position: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Sandor Molnar: {3-Hearts}{3-Spades}

Molnar was significantly ahead with his set of threes, but his opponent still had plenty of outs with his flush and backdoor straight draws. However, the runout of {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} did not do it for him and he was eliminated as Molnar was pushed the pot.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Rich Alsup raised to 4,000 preflop and found one call from Kevin Meyers to his left.

The flop came {6-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Alsup continued for 4,000 but was then raised by Meyers to 12,000.

Aslup thought for a second but then opted on a fold and the pot was pushed to Meyers.
