Foster Doubles Up

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

Grant Foster raised to 2,000 from early positon and was called by Bernard Lee on the button, both blinds, and the under-the-gun player.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and action was checked to Foster who continued for 7,500. Lee went for a quick trip into the tank before cutting out a raise to 18,700.

Action folded back to Foster who then moved all in for slightly more, much to the displeasure of Lee as he sighed and threw in a call chip. The cards were then tabled, with Foster at risk of elimination.

Grant Foster: {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}
Bernard Lee: {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}

Foster was ell in the lead with his pocket jacks which left Lee drawing only to a queen or running ace-king for a straight, but the board completed with {3-Hearts}{6-Spades} and Foster was awarded the big pot for a double-up.

Set No Good Against Morey

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

On a turn board of {3-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}, Ken Morey bet 6,500 from the hijack and was called by Brian Behncke on the button.

The river came the {4-Diamonds} and this time Morey checked to Behncke, who then bet 10,000.

Morey quickly called Behncke tabled {3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for a flopped set of threes, but then Morey rolled over {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for a turned straight to win the pot.

"I could only call because I didn't like those hearts out there!" Morey admitted as he began to stack his newly acquired chips.

Muse and Singleton Chop Galanti

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jason Singleton, Tony Galanti, and Justin Muse all found themselves all in preflop, with Muse covering.

Jason Singleton: {a-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Tony Galanti: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}
Justin Muse: {3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}

"Well at least you cant get quads," SIngleton joked to Muse when he realized he was drawing slim.

But miraculously, the board on the turn read {2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} to give him a wheel straight, which also gave a possible chop out to Muse who now was open-ended. Meanwhile, Galanti was drawing dead and he began to gather his belongings.

And just like that, the river was the {6-Spades} to give Muse the same straight and both players chopped the pot as Galanti exited.

Foist Trips up Singleton

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

On a four-way flop of {a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}, Jason Singleton was first to act and he moved all in for 3,100. Justin Muse, Matt Foist, and Marry Anne Madruga all made the call.

"What is this, a survivor tournament?" Singleton joked as he failed to produce any folds.

The turn came the {a-Spades} and Muse checked to Foist, who then bet 10,000, followed by a call from Madruga and a fold from Muse.

The river fell the {6-Diamonds} and Foist fired again for 10,000 and this time Madruga decided to fold.

"Nice ace," Singleton said as he flipped over {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades} for two-pair. Sure enough, Foist rolled over {a-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for trip aces to win the sizeable pot, eliminating Singleton.
