Day 1c Ends as Navarro Bursts Bubble

Level 7 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

On the first hand of hand-for-hand play, Valentino Navarro was all in for less than a big blind and 4 people went to the flop.

All three players ended up checking it down and Navarro failed to win with his queen-high and was eliminated on the stone bubble.

The surviving 19 players are now in the money and have started the bagging process and will return tomorrow for Day 2.

A final chip count and recap of this flight will be released shortly.

Ten Good for Baghdasarian

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

On a heads-up flop of {8-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}, Nova Baghdasarian checked to his opponent, Luis Montana, who then bet 36,000 into the already bloated pot of 60,000.

After debating with himself for a few moments, Baghdasarian made the call and the two went to the turn {7-Spades}

The action then went check-check and the duo saw the river come the {9-Clubs}.

Both players elected to check once more and Baghdasarian flipped over {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens and Montana mucked his hand.
