Jones Calls Correctly

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action was picked up on the river between Wesley Jones in the small blind and a player under the gun, with 61,000 in the center.

The board read {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Jones checked to his opponent who bet 38,000, sending Jones into the tank. After a little over a minute he put the chips in the center.

His opponent shook his head and turned over {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for a pair of tens. It was no good against Jones' {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a pair of aces and Jones took down a decent sized pot.
