Liu Doubles Up
Level 22
: Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
On a heads-up turn of 8♣3♠6♠7♠, Shijia Liu moved all in for his last 265,000 and the action was then on Kevin O'Donnell who went into the tank.
After several moments, he decided to make the call to put Liu at risk, who then flipped over Q♥Q♦ for an overpair of queens.
"Agh!" O'Donnell groaned as he tabled his A♣7♣ for a pair of sevens as the river came the brick 2♥ to award the pot to Liu.
