Kopp Makes Quads To Bust Raymer
Level 18
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Greg Raymer raised to 25,000 in the hijack and both the button and William Kopp in the small blind called.
The flop came out J♥4♥6♠ and action checked to Raymer who bet 35,000. The button folded and Kopp raised, which saw Raymer move all in for 210,000 and Kopp snap called.
Greg Raymer: 7♥7♠
William Kopp: 4♣4♠
The turn 4♦ ended Raymer's chances as Kopp made quads to make the 9♥ river irrelevant and the 2004 WSOP Main Event champion exited the tournament, gifting the WSOP bracelet winner with a fossil before he left.
