Joseph Maggio and Casey Henry got all the chips in preflop, with Maggio at risk of elimination.
Joseph Maggio: 7♥7♦
Casey Henry: K♥K♣
Maggio needed a lot of help to catch up to Henry's superior pocket kings, but it was not to be as the board ran out 10♣5♥A♠10♣4♣. Henry was awarded the pot with his big two pair of kings and tens and Maggio was sent to the payout desk in 16th place.
After a preflop betting war, Dakotah O'Dell and chip leader Saied Moradi got it all in the middle, with O'Dell at risk.
Dakotah O'Dell: K♣K♦
Saied Moradi: A♥A♦
The table let out a collective groan as the classic cooler was revealed, with O'Dell on the short-end of the stick.
The board ran out 10♣3♠9♠A♣9♠ leaving O'Dell dead on the turn and the river was just overkill as it gave Moradi the top full house to eliminate O'Dell in 15th place.
Moradi is now the mega chip leader with around 3,775,000.
Tyson Langly got it all in for his tournament life against larger stack Iman Alsaden before the flop.
Tyson Langly: 8♠8♦
Iman Alsaden: A♥A♦
Langly was going to need a lot of help to catch up to Alsaden's bullets, but the board did him no favors with the 3♣9♥J♦9♣A♠ runout to give Alsaden a full house, eliminating Langly in 14th place.
Joseph McCaig opened to 80,000 and then Cyrus Khorram moved all in on him. McCaig went into the tank for around 30 seconds before he finally decided to make the call, putting Khorram at risk.
Cyrus Khorram: A♦Q♦
Joseph McCaig: 3♣3♠
McCaig was a small favorite in this flip, and he somehow held on the board of J♣10♦10♥2♣6♣ to eliminate Khorram in 12th place.
Iman Alsaden opened to 110,000 under-the-gun and was called by Jason Brin in the cutoff and Saied Moradi in the small blind.
The flop came out K♠Q♦A♠ and Alsaden continued for 225,000 after a check from Moradi. Brin was in the tank for a brief stint before deciding to let it go but Moradi decided to come along.
On the turn, both players went check-check and went straight to the river 9♦.
Moradi then moved all in for over 3,000,000, vastly covering Alsaden's stack of 525,000, and sent her into the tank.
After several long and painful minutes, Alsaden slid her cards into the muck to award the large pot to Moradi.
"I don't even want to see it," Alsaden sighed, but Moradi went ahead and showed her the A♥2♥ for just a pair of aces.
"I folded a set of kings there, well-played sir." Alsaden tapped the table, "I was trying to find a call there so bad, if I had the king of diamonds I was snap-calling," she shook her head as the dealer dealt out the next hand.
Eric Colvin had just lost the majority of his stack to Jesse Jones the previous hand, so when Andre Allen opened to 175,000 preflop, he moved all in for a total of 315,000.
Action back around to Allen who made the call, putting Colvin at risk of elimination.
Eric Colvin: A♥9♥
Andre Allen: 5♥5♦
Colvin needed some help to catch up to Allen's pocket fives, but the board was not his friend as came K♣10♠7♥2♦6♦ to award Allen the pot. Colvin was sent to the payout desk in 11th place for a prize of $7,946.
