Pesce threw up his hands when he saw what he was up against, for he knew the queen-ten was a hot hand tonight.

True to form, the queen appeared right in the window of the Q♥K♥3♣ flop to give Hoang the lead, and the runout of 4♣7♣ further improved him to a flush to send out Pesce on the stone bubble.

"Should have just stayed asleep," Pesce muttered as he made his way to the exit.

Howard Falls to Dixon's Dirty River

After everyone folded around and Stan Dixon limped from the small blind, Taylor Howard moved all in from the big blind and was snap-called by Dixon to put him at risk.

Howard went into this battle ahead with his ace high, and he scored a favorable flop of A♥3♥4♣ for top pair and a straight draw. But then the turn came the J♦ to give Dixon a pair...

"Oh, don't do it," Howard pleaded as he stood up, but it was too late as the 9♦ peeled off on the river to give Dixon two-pair to knock him out near the bubble.

Hughes was ahead with his pocket pair going into this fight, but the flop of 8♠A♠2♣ put him pretty far behind as Wehr paired his ace. The runout of 7♦9♥ failed to provide Hughes with a four and he was sent to the rail.

After Rip Fritzer and another player were already all in, the action ended on Kevin 'BigKev' Meyers who had a decision to make.

"Man, I think the right play is to just stick it in here," he announced as he stuck his chips in the middle and tabled his cards.

Kevin Meyers: J♣10♣
Opponent: A♥K♣
Rip Fritzer: A♦K♦

"I mean I hate to say it, but I like your hand," Fritzer admitted as he saw he and the other player shared the same hand.

The flop came out Q♦8♦Q♥ to give Meyers a gutshot straight draw but the turn killed everything when it came the 5♦.

"Come on! One time!" Fritzer shouted, unaware that he had already hit his flush and his opponents were drawing stone dead.

Once the river came the 6♥ he realized what happened and quickly raked in the chips as they were pushed his way while Meyers and the other player made their exit.

The rules are unclear as to whether that counted as his "one time", but time will tell.
