Action checked through on the flop to the turn where Margers bet 3,500 and Eicher called.
The river saw Margers bet again, this time to the tune of 13,000 and Eicher went into the tank. After some time he put the chips into the middle.

The second event of The RunGood Poker Series Checkpoint at Jamul Casino in San Diego, California was the $200 Guest Bounty, which saw a total of 235 entrants appear. All players were given the opportunity to knock out RunGood Ambassadors to win prizes that included $1,000 in cash. Some of these guests included Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano, Lexy Gavin-Mather, Robert Mather, Johnnie “Vibes” Moreno, and Garry Gates.
After the dust settled it was Miguel Bautista who took home his first RGPS cash in the form of a trophy. Once there were only four players remaining, an ICM deal was struck so that Bautista could take home the lionshare of the cash and the ring.

A player raised to 6,500 from early position and was called by Grant Foster in middle position. Action folded around to Garry Gates who defended his big blind and saw a flop three ways.
The flop of saw Gates check to the initial raiser who checked as well. Foster bet 7,000 and Gates responded by moving all in for 35,000.
The initial raiser folded and Foster rechecked his cards very briefly before tossing his hand into the muck and Gates raked in a decent sized pot without showdown.
