Frenzel Rising

Action was picked up on the turn with Brian Frenzel in the big blind, facing one player in the small blind and another in the cutoff.

With 4,200 in the pot, the small blind led out for 2,500 on the turn which saw both Frenzel and the cutoff call.

John Guinan Wins Event #1: $200 Seniors for $8,072

The inaugural RunGood Poker Series at Hard Rock Tulsa kicked off on Tuesday January 24th, with the $200 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Event. A total of 199 players came out to make a prize pool of $31,830. Of those entrants, only 25 saw a minimum cash of $369.

At the end of it all, it was Arkansas native John Guinan who won outright for $8,072 for his first RGPS title, and his best score in nearly a decade. Guinan had found himself once prior coming close to RGPS glory when he came in 19th place in the last Tulsa Seniors event for $301. This time around he was able to storm forward and take down his first victory since a Heartland Poker Tour win in 2014.

Speck Scoops A Big One

Action was recapped by the table as Raymond Speck stacked up his now chip lead stack.

After one player in early position raised to 1,300, a flurry of calls followed it. The big blind raised to 7,200 which saw all the initial callers fold except for Speck in the small blind.

On a flop of , Speck checked to the big blind who bet 12,400. Speck moved all in for 25,000 effective and his opponent called.
