Action was recapped by the table as Donovan Dean was seen exiting the tournament.
David Mann had opened in first position and after that, Donovan Dean got in his stack from the button with another player getting a smaller stack behind him in the small blind. Mann called to cover both, creating a pot worth over 100,000.
Small blind: A♥J♥
Donovan Dean: 10♣10♦
David Mann: A♣K♠
The board ran out K♥9♣3♠7♣4♣ and the ace-king found a king on the flop to take the lead and he took down the pot while Dean and the small blind exited the tournament.
Action was picked up on the flop with 25,000 in the middle in a pot between Jacob Tittle in the hijack and Frank Covich in the big blind.
The flop read, 7♦10♥J♥ and Tittle had bet 16,000 when the action got to him. Covich responded by moving all in for 39,000 which saw Tittle call.
Frank Covich: 10♣7♣
Jacob Tittle: A♦10♦
The turn A♣ put Tittle in the lead with aces up and Covich did not improve on the 3♣ river, leaving him with no chips and for Tittle to take down the pot.
A player opened to 10,000 in late position which saw WPT champion Mark Davis call in the cutoff while another player called in the big blind.
The flop came out J♠7♥2♥ and the big blind checked to the late position player who bet 5,000. Davis raised to 17,000 which saw the big blind call, while the late position player jammed for 30,000. Davis asked for a count before moving all in himself for just shy of 200,000.
"Let's play a big one," Davis told the big blind "Somebody's gotta catch Moneymaker."
The big blind tossed his hand away, saying he folded a jack.
Opponent: 8♣8♥
Mark Davis: A♥J♥
The turn of 4♥ left Davis with a 100% chance of winning the pot before the 9♠ river even came off. Davis now sits as one of the biggest stacks in the field as he aims to bag.
