Loch Starts Off with a Bang

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Before the flop, Phillip Plant, Bryan Loch, and Saeed Nid found themselves all in, with Nia covering.

Phillip Plant: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Bryan Loch: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Saeed Nia: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Plant was a big favorite going into this matchup, but the board of {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} was not his friend as Loch hit his jack on the river to give him a full house. This earned him close to a triple-up and consequently sent Plant to the rail.

Jacks Good for Monaghan

Level 15 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After an open from Kevin Gray under-the-gun, Marvin Blocker moved all in and then Michael Monaghan shoved over the top for more.

The action came back around to Gray, who went into the tank. After several moments of deliberation, he decided to lay it down and the other two tabled their cards, with Blocker at risk.

Marvin Blocker: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Michael Monaghan: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Blocker needed some help to stay alive, but the board of {2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} did no such thing and he was sent to the rail. Gray then admitted that he folded pocket nines and gave himself a pat on the back as Monaghan was pushed the pot.

Godfrey Hits River to Stay Alive, but Exits Soon After

Level 16 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Justin Godfrey raised to 65,000, leaving himself with just 10,000 behind and Mike Cordell just called.

The flop came out {q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} and both players checked to the {5-Clubs} on the turn.

Cordell then bet 10,000 to put Goorrey all in, which he called to put himself at risk.

Justin Godfrey: {a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Mike Cordell: {a-Clubs}{10-Spades}

"Ok, seven or four!" Godfrey told the dealer, and just like that the {4-Clubs} plopped down on the turn to give both players a straight to chop the pot.

Unfortunately, Godfrey busted a few hands later when his pocket jacks fell to ace-jack.

On a heads-up turn board of {3-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, the pot was over 200,000 when Michael Foster checked to his opponent, Charles Johnson.

Johnson then placed out a bet of 75,000 and after a good minute of deliberation, Foster made the fold.

The pot was pushed to Johnson to put his stack at 385,000.
