Jeffrey Day raised to 24,000 from early position which saw Joshua Gibbs call in the cutoff and Matthew Betti defend the big blind.
The flop rolled out 3♦5♣7♦ and Betti bet 35,000 which saw Day fold and Gibbs raised to 100,000 which Betti called.
Betti checked the 3♥ turn over to Gibbs who moved all in for 190,000 effective and Betti went into the tank.
"It could be eights or a flush draw," Betti muttered under his breath. After some more time he put in the call to put himself at risk.
Matthew Betti: 7♣4♦
Joshua Gibbs: 8♣8♠
The river peeled the 3♣ and the eights held up for Gibbs while Betti was eliminated from the tournament.
