The RunGood Poker Series continues taking Destination RunGood on the road, with 5 more exciting spring stops before the season finale this summer.

“Destination RunGood is more than just a theme; it's an invitation for players to experience poker as a way to explore the country,” said RGPS CEO Tana Karn. “We've carefully curated the Spring Season to deliver excitement, camaraderie, and unparalleled competition."

This week sees a pair of stops in Council Bluffs and Reno, with St. Louis soon to follow.

The tour's final swing will take it to Bay Area-favorite Graton Casino and then Kansas City, before the Season Finale at Thunder Valley in July.

Key Highlights of the 2024 Spring Season:

Eleven Tour Stops Nationwide: The RGPS tour will span across eleven locations, bringing the thrill of tournament poker to cities from the East Coast to the West. Players can look forward to a top-notch experience with unforgettable moments.
Newly Designed Event Rings: In a nod to the significance of achievement, RunGood has completed newly designed Destination RunGood rings that will be awarded to event winners at each tour stop. These rings symbolize excellence and the competitive spirit that sets the RunGood Poker Series apart.
Dream Seat Invitational by PokerGO: Back by popular demand, the Dream Seat Invitational by PokerGO will return for the 2024 season. This exclusive event invites 2024 ring winners from all over to participate for a seat to represent the best of the best of the tour at the PGT Championship Freeroll at the PokerGO Studio.

Action was picked up on the river in a hand between a player in the small blind and Pedro Baptista in the cutoff.

With 17,000 in the center and a board reading 8♠Q♠7♦J♥6♥, the small blind bet 11,000.

Baptista rechecked his cards, did some chip counting for a bit before putting out his entire stack.

"Nice hand," the small blind said mucking his cards, ceding the pot to Baptista.

After four players limped, James Colson raised to 6,000 on the button which saw Jacqui Newman call in late position and another player call on the button.

The flop rolled out J♠4♠7♣ and action checked around to Colson who bet 6,000 which both other players called.

Everyone checked through the 10♣ turn to the 6♠ river where Newman led out for 7,500 which elicited two quick folds.

Richard Lane Wins RGPS Reno Event #1: $250 Seniors ($6,600)

The Rungood Poker Series has made its return to The Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno, Nevada. This iteration of the series sees a total of nine ring events running from April 23rd-28th.

A total of 110 entrants came out to this iteration of the seniors event, beating out last year’s numbers by one entry. This saw a total of 14 places dividing up the $22,000 Prizepool.

Taking down his very first RGPS ring was Richard Lane who took home a career best score of $6,600. This is Lane’s first RGPS cash and he certainly left an impression by collecting the first ring of the stop. The Tennessee resident brings his overall Hendon Mob total up to $30,000.

He becomes the first player from this stop to receive an invitation to the Dream Seat Invitational at Thunder Valley in November.
