Fortunes were not on everyone’s side as the day saw many players fall by the wayside. RGPS Ambassadors Taylor Howard, Jamie Kerstetter, Scott Stewart, and Corey Paggeot all failed to advance along with regulars Kevin Meyers, Conrad Simpson, and David Soskin but are sure to be back tomorrow with a vengeance.

The 13 survivors will return to play on Sunday February 25, with blinds at 4,000/8,000 unless one of the following flights finds an earlier endpoint. Tomorrow, Saturday, February 24 at 11 a.m. will see the kickoff of Day 1b and 6 PM will be the beginning of Day 1c, as well as the last chance to secure a bag for the second day.

With unlimited re-entry in all tournaments and registration open until level 9, players will have ample opportunity to play for their shot at RGPS glory.

After only a few months since the last stop here, the RunGood Poker Series is back at Jamul Casino in beautiful San Diego as the second stop on their newest season Destination: RunGood . The series returns tonight for the first of three starting flights for the stop's $600 Main Event. With a championship ring up for grabs alongside the $125,000 guaranteed prize pool, this event will bring out many familiar faces and ring winners from past RGPS seasons, adding to the stop's already fun and family-like atmosphere at the tables.

As with all of the RunGood Main Events, the eventual winner will also win a seat in the invitation-only Dream Seat event that runs at the end of the year. The tournament's eventual winner will then win a seat into the 64-player capped field PokerGo Invitational $1,000,000 guaranteed freeroll, meaning that taking down this event could be a ticket to life-changing money for whoever goes home with the title.

The RGPS San Diego defending champion from last November is Derrick Yamada who topped a 299-person field to take down the top prize of $31,565 along with the title and the ring after a heads-up chop deal with Steve Hoang.
