A player from middle position raised to 8,000, and was called by Derek Stark in the small blind.
Both players checked after the 2♥3♠4♦ flop, which brought the A♣ on the turn. Stark then check-called a bet of 8,000.
After the 9♦ on the river, Stark again check-called a bet, this time for 20,000. The middle position player showed Q♠8♠ for a pair of eights, but Stark had the winner with A♠6♠ to take the pot with his pair of aces.
Level 11: Blinds- 1,500/3,000/3,000 Big Blind Ante
Action folded to Brian Brown on the button who limped in, before the small blind raised all in for 23,500. The big blind called, and Brown did as well.
For the side pot, both players checked the 10♠J♠5♣ flop, which brought the J♥ on the turn. The big blind then bet out 10,000, which Brown called.
After the 9♥ on the river, the big blind checked to Brown, who fired out 20,000.The big blind mucked to give Brown the side pot, and he tabled J♣9♣ for a full house, jacks full of nines. The small blind showed 6♦6♣ and he tossed cards in the muck as he left the tournament area, giving Brown the main pot as well.

Action folded to Georgina Trumbull and she raised all in for 41,000 from the hijack. Then the player in the cutoff three-bet all in for his stack of 65,000. The button and the blinds quickly folded, to leave the players heads up with Trumbull at risk.

Trumbull was ahead with her pocket fives and once the board ran out Q♣7♠J♠8♠8♦ they remained best to give her the double up.
A player from under the gun raised to 6,000, which was called by Daniel Lujano in the cutoff. It then folded to the big blind who three-bet to 17,000. The under the gun player called, but Lujano four-bet all in for his stack of 69,500. The big blind then five-bet all in, and the under the gun play gave it some thought before mucking J♥J♦ face up to leave the players heads up.

Lujano got tricky with his pocket queens, just smooth calling the open from the under the gun player. But he would still need to win the race to stay in the tournament. When the board ran out 3♦7♦6♥6♣3♣ the pocket queens were still best, giving Lujano the double up.
Level 10: Blinds- 1,000/2,000/2,000 Big Blind Ante
Action folded to the small blind Felipe Koury who raised all in for his stack of 37,000, which was quickly called by the big blind.

Koury was dominated by the bigger ace of his opponent, but the board ran out 9♦Q♠6♦Q♦2♥ and Koury made two pair, queens and sixes to take the pot and double up.
Action was picked up on the flop with the board showing 2♠3♥5♦ and Austin Lake all in for 23,000.

Lakes opponent flopped top pair but would have to fade the open ended straight draw of Lake. But when the board ran out Q♠ on the turn and 6♣ on the river, Lake made his straight to take the pot and double up.
With 83 entrants the tournament director has announced that the field will play down until there are 11 players remaining. The players will then all make the money and come back for Day 2.
The $600 Main Event of the RunGood Poker Series has completed its second of three Day 1 flights. Day 1b attracted a total of 156 entrants at Jamul Casino, bringing the overall field to 256 players. When the night concluded, 20 players made the money and will advance to Day 2. The chip leader at the end of the night is Ron Segni with 564,000.
Close behind Segni on the leaderboard is reality star Rob Mariano, with 427,000. 'Boston Rob' started to really build his stack after winning a big three-way all-in, where he hit a flush on the river. In third place is Luis Montano with 392,000.

Chip leader Segni earned his position after winning a massive pot that also burst the money bubble. After raising on the button with pocket jacks, Bar Rozen in the small blind smooth-called with ace-queen. The flop came down with a 10-high all-diamond board. Rozen, holding the ace of diamonds, led out with a bet of 100,000. Segni then moved all-in for his stack of 242,000, and Rozen, with exactly the same amount of chips, made the call. Unfortunately for Rozen, the board bricked out for him, and he was eliminated as the bubble boy, while Segni ended the night as the chip leader.

Day 1c, the final Day 1 flight is already underway. The flight will follow the same structure as today, with players starting with 30,000 chips and 30-minute levels. Late registration will remain open until the start of Level 9, and approximately 12.5% of the field will advance to Day 2 on Sunday, November 24.
