The Rungood Poker Series at Horseshoe Tunica saw its first open event kick off at 1 PM on Tuesday, September 3rd. It attracted 83 entrants to create a prizepool of $16,600 and ensure that the final 11 players would be guaranteed money.

Richard Leigeber had collected one RG cash in his career prior and this week he made his second one an incredibly memorable one. For the majority of the final table, Leigeber possessed the chip lead and it seemed like the momentum was going in his direction through the majority of play.

In the end it would be he and Steven McKuin who would battle heads up, with Leigeber’s chip lead holding up and he claimed his first Hendon Mob victor for a career best score of $4,896. Leigeber was joined by his wife in the photos and the two of them happily exited the tournament with a piece of new jewelry.
