Green Lives to Fight Another Day
Level 2
: Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
An opponent opened from under the gun to 800 and was called in the next seat over before Ron Green completed from the small blind.
The flop came 6♥7♠Q♦ before Ron Green chose to commit the final 2,000 chips of his stack with an all-in. The under-the-gun player folded before the next seat over made the call to put Green at risk.
Ron Green: 8♣7♦
Opponent: A♠6♠
Green had the best of it when the cards hit their backs as his opponent complimented him for having the best hand before they went to a runout.
The board ran out 3♠ and 3♥ to award Green the much-needed double.
