Wolfe Doubles with Big Slick
Level 5
: Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
A player in middle position opened before George Wolfe three-bet to 5,300 from the cutoff. Henry Hull cold-called on the button while the original raiser got out of the way.
On the A♣8♥7♣ flop, Wolfe continued for 5,000 and Hull quickly called.
The turn brought the 2♦. Wolfe snap-jammed for his remaining 11,600 and Hull put in the call as the covering stack.
George Wolfe: A♠K♣
Henry Hull: 6♦5♦
Wolfe was better than a 4-1 favorite to double and he faded Hull's outs on the 8♠ river to secure the double.
