The end of the previous level saw several smaller pots go the way of mashipi, who also won a three-bet pot when he made it 1,800,000 to go. Jun Obara called and bet the J♠7♣4♦ flop when checked to, mashipi called. They checked the A♠ turn and mashipi's bet of 5,500,000 on the 6♦ river won the pot.

mashipi already jokingly pushed the pot to Obara, who had been running over the table in the last few minutes. The Q♥7♥3♦ flop left Jiro3 on the ropes, the 6♠ turn and 4♦ river ended his run in third place.

After defending his big blind, mashipi led the A♣J♦2♠8♦ turn for 1,500,000 and the 7♣ river for 4,500,000. Jun Obara on the button called both times and was shown 10♦4♦ for a bluff, which he had beat holding the K♦J♣ for a pair of jacks.

Obara then forced out Jiro3 and claimed the lead for the first time on this final table. Obara also defended against a button min-raise by Jiro3 and they checked the Q♠7♦3♠ flop. The Q♣ turn saw Obara bet for 350,000 and Jiro3 reluctantly folded.

For once, mashipi didn't have his way on the A♦K♣5♦2♥3♦ board and Jiro3 doubled for 2,875,000 but remained the far shortest stack.

Jun Obara raised to 600,000 in the first hand after the break and then folded when Jiro3 three-bet jammed behind.

Soon after that, Takeshi pushed all-in from the button and Obara glanced at his cards in the big blind before announcing the call.

The A♦A♠5♣ flop left Takeshi on the ropes with only two outs. Neither came with the 9♣ turn and 5♥ river, sending Takeshi to the payout desk to collect his JOPT player contract for fourth place.

The action started with an open raise by Ryuseiii and he then called a small three-bet by chip leader mashipi on the button to see the Q♦8♠2♥ flop. Ryuseiii opted for a check-raise from 800,000 to 2,000,000 and mashipi called.

When they headed to the 7♦ turn, Ryuseiii glanced at his stack and declared all-in. No sooner had the words been spoken when mashipi snap-called and Ryuseiii gasped an audible "fuck".

No card in the deck could help Ryuseiii and the 4♦ river ended his run in fifth place. One hand later, the final four players went on the next scheduled 10-minute break. It seems unlikely that there will be another one except for the heads-up preparations.
