Gooya Chips Up With Kings
Level 6
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Armin Gooya has been living in Japan since 2016 and "wishes that poker was more of a thing here", though, the cash game player has jumped into Day 1c of this event earlier on. Just now, Gooya faced a min-raise to 1,600 and three-bet to 3,000 two seats over for four opponents to call. On the 9♠8♠2♥ flop, the initial raiser led for 2,500 and Gooya's raise to 10,000 was only called by them.
Both the A♦ turn and 3♥ river were checked for the player under the gun to reveal 7♥6♥ for the missed straight draw, which Gooya had beat holding K♣K♠.
