May Chips Up Early
Level 1
: Blinds 100/200, 200 ante
Jarryd Hawkins was first to act in the hijack and raised to 500, which was called by the player in the cutoff and small blind. Then Dorianne May in the big blind put in a three-bet to 2,500, which Hawkins called, the cutoff folded, and the small blind called as well.
After the flop came 3♦6♥2♠ the small blind checked to May who bet out 3,000, which Hawkins called and the small blind folded.
The turn brought the K♣ and Hawkins called a bet of 5,000 from May.
Both players checked after the 6♦ on the river, and May tabled A♠K♦ to take the pot with her two pair, kings and sixes, as Hawkins tossed his cards in the muck.
