A total of 176 entrants came out to play RGPS Event #5: $300 One Day out here at Hard Rock Casino, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This ensured the final 22 players would all see a piece of the $42,240 prize pool.

After all was said and done, Leonard James took down his first ever RGPS piece of jewelry after defeating Curtis "3CoinRandy" Sadler heads up. He now nearly doubles his lifetime earnings as an excited ring winner was celebrated by his rail.

The second biggest event of the series in RGPS Tulsa took place over the course of two days as 325 entrants smashed the set guarantee as $105,625 was divided up between the final 39. Each of the final players were guaranteed a $687, with each player looking to grab the sizable prize on the pot.

The final table was set with many legends of the felt, with current RGPS Player of the year front runner Michael Johns making another final table.

After all was said and done, it was WSOP Bracelet winner Michael Perrone who wont the title. No stranger to tournament success, Perrone ended the tournament with a royal flush draw up against James' Stone's two pair. The turn brought a straight to Perrone and he conquered the second biggest prize awarded this week.

Despite the 3 WSOPC rings and the WSOP bracelet, Perrone saw his accolades grow as he claimed the first Deepstack victory of the season for his very first RGPS ring. While he took the next two days off, he returns during the main in the hopes to carry some momentum forward.

Travis Into The Lead

Wesley Jones raised to 15,000 in first position and four players called including Mike Travis in middle posiiton.

The flop rolled out 1022 and action checked around to Travis who bet 50,000, prompting the late position player to raise to 115,000 which only Travis called.

Both players checked the Q turn to the river 2 and Travis moved all in for 206,000 which sent his opponent into the tank, but eventually he called.

The turn had brought Travis a pair of queens and the river had filled him up to leave him to best the twos full of jacks and he took the lead.
