Brutal River for McGregor Saves Osborn
Level 10
: Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Wayne McGregor opened to 6,000 from early position and was called by Douglas Lee in the small blind and Tracie Osborn in the big blind.
The 8♥7♣4♠ flop checked through to the 6♦ turn which saw Osborn bet 5,000. McGregor flatted before Lee got out of the way.
The 5♠ river put a straight on the board as Osborn led for 10,000.
"That was the worst card in the deck," McGregor lamented as he flicked in the call.
Tracie Osborn: 9♣7♠
Wayne McGregor: 5♥5♦
McGregor already had the straight on the turn, but the river gave Osborn a higher straight and her final bet got paid.
