Zhou's Kings Hold for the KO
Level 3
: Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Heads-up to the turn with a little under 4,000 in the middle, the board read Q♥8♦3♣J♦. Kelli Mix checked from the big blind to Li Zi Zhou in middle position who bet 2,000. Mix responded with a check-jam for her remaining 7,100 stack, and Zhou quickly called with the covering stack.
Kelli Mix: Q♣6♦
Li Zi Zhou: K♥K♦
Mix had flopped top pair but was in bad shape against the overpair of Zhou. The K♠ landed on the river, improving Zhou to top set as he sent an opponent to the rail.
