Acker Flops Top Set and Gets Jammed Into
Level 11
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Tim Acker opened under the gun and was called by the big blind.
On the 10♠9♠6♥ flop, Acker continued for 7,000 before his opponent check-raised to 15,000, and Acker flatted after some deliberation.
The turn brought the J♦ as the big blind quickly announced all in for just under 60,000, and Acker snapped it off.
Big Blind: A♣9♣
Tim Acker: 10♥10♣
The big blind flopped second pair, but he was drawing dead on the turn against the set of tens from Acker, and he collected a massive pot after the meaningless 7♠ river.
The field has been reduced to its final 18 players with two tables remaining.
