The RunGood Poker Series has come to Caribbean for the first time here at the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino. The largest tournament of the series saw its second of four starting flights kick off this morning for the $400 RunGood in Aruba Ring Event, which features a $100,000 guarantee.

Day 1b attracted a total of 74 entries after 78 came out last night, bringing the running total to 152 runners, adding $50,160 to the prize pool with two flights still to come.

After an extended bubble, the final eight survivors bagged up their chips with Tim Acker holding a commanding lead atop the overall leaderboard with 709,000.

Finishing this flight in second was Ronnie Bardah (400,000), who spun up a late reg stack after winning several all ins. The most important of these was a massive flip with queens against the ace-king of Acker on the stone bubble.

Michael Baumann's (384,000) stack rode a rollercoaster throughout the final levels as he rounds out the podium in third.

Veronique Croes (204,000), Christopher Funari (181,000), and Rachel Usack (159,000) are bunched together in the middle of the pack, while Thomas Rienessl (125,000) and Li Zi Zhou (58,000) are bringing up the rear.

The bubble period took quite some time, with the short stacks winning hand after hand. The flight played all the way until 16:52 remaining at 6,000/12,000 before Santiago Sonensein was eliminated, bringing play to a close.

Yesterday's flight finished with 16:16 remaining at 4,000/8,000 blinds, which is the latest that the blinds will restart on Sunday.

Day 1c is currently ongoing with 106 registered players in Level 6, with a final starting flight taking place at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
