Rodriguez Extends Lead
Level 12
: Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Omar Rodriguez opened from the cutoff and was called by the button, while the small blind also put in the last of his chips.
On the Q♦J♦8♠ flop, Rodriguez led for 7,000 before the button raised to 17,000, and he called.
Rodriguez then check-called another bet for 20,000 on the 5♥ turn.
The 9♦ river checked through as the button tabled A♠Q♣ for top pair, top kicker. However, Rodriguez had rivered a straight with A♣10♥ as he extends his lead atop the counts while eliminating the small blind as well.
