Purer Tables Two Pair
Level 12
: Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Joshua Shapiro raised from the cutoff to 10,000, and Benjamin Purer stuck in a call from the small blind. Brandon Artis checked his cards in the big blind and came along to the 4♠8♠A♦ flop.
Purer and Artis checked to Shapiro, who continued for 17,000. Only Purer called to see the 8♦ turn, where both players checked.
The board paired again on the 4♥ river, and another pair of checks followed. Purer showed A♠J♠ for aces and eights, collecting the pot as Shapiro mucked.
